Tranquil Arts ~Relax. Restore. Renew.
Special Message from John
Thank you so very much for visiting my site ! I hope you have enjoyed meeting me here online, learning about what I do, and how I may be able to help you.
In the “About John King” section of this site, I mentioned that “ki” is a part of everything I do, but I feel it is important to explain a little bit more about that here.
The word “ki” is a part of the words Aikido, Kokikai, Reiki, and even my last name; King. Ki is invisible, but it is substantial and is a part of our human field of energy, sometimes called a “biofield” by scientists. Ki is like air; you cannot see it but you know it is there. A tree sways in the breeze, or a leaf blows past you on a blustery day, yet you cannot see the wind that causes these things.
The same is true concerning your body, mind and spirit. You cannot see any illness present in them with your naked eyes, you can only see its effects. Reiki is like warm, healing water which flows peacefully through you and penetrates to the root of the illness - as opposed to modern medicine, which seems to relieve only symptoms, and not the actual cause of your illness.
In case all of this sounds too magical and mystical, remember that the brilliant scientist Albert Einstein explained that we are each made up of living, vibrating energy that just happens to be arranged as a “person.” This same energy makes up everything else as well, and can be directed by those who have mastered it. As such, I am a channel for this wonderful power to flow through on its way to healing you, and by amplifying the ki in your body, not only will an afflicted area be affected positively, but the rest of your body, mind and spirit will benefit from this infusion of energy as well.
Please, please understand that I am not a magician and Reiki is not a trick; I am merely helping nature’s dramatic power to operate at a more optimal level inside you. Also keep in mind that your ailments, diseases and afflictions may have taken many years to develop the stronghold they have on you now, and although in some cases healing is rapid, others may require repeated treatments.
Remember that it is also in your best interest to eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water, get enough exercise and rest, and live as happily as possible. Reiki is healing, always, for your body, mind and spirit, but you can help yourself, too.
I have enjoyed sharing this expert information with you because it is my life’s work, but certainly, the most important thing for you to understand right now is that Reiki greatly enhances whatever natural or cultivated healing ability a practitioner already has, so when it is added to my holistic approach, this formula creates a powerful, one-of-a-kind healing experience for you.
I wish you all the best, and hope to see you soon.
Peace,
Sensei John King
